A canvas full of thoughts

Before man has learned to express through words or by music he has discovered the joy of painting. The numerous paintings made by our ancient ancestors found in the remotest caves all around the world has enabled us to know about the course of civilization man has gone through. With centuries passing by man had mastered over the art and has expressed himself through his strokes of brush. Painting had gone through an intellectual revolution giving birth to impressionism where the inner emotion of the artist has been prioritized unlike the parallel expressionist art form. Painting has inspired other forms of art as well. The beautiful song called Vincent by Don McLean was a musical interpretation of a work of art by Van Gogh.
